Library of Things YXE (Communications Coordinator)

Description The Communications Coordinator helps create a communications plan for social media, print and traditional media that aligns with our existing branding strategy.  They support the social media volunteer in keeping our online presence cohesive. Duties Create and maintain a social media and communications plan alongside the Communications and Marketing Committee that addresses the long term needs of the Library of Things YXE Review graphics and captions created by the Social Media Volunteer before they post them Creates promotional materials as requested (Ex. posters, newsletter etc) Schedule and Monitor META Ads as required Carry out website edits and monitor website analytics Support the Social Media Volunteer as needed and act as back up when required Reports to the Library Coordinator(s)   Expectations Hours per week are flexible, however we estimate an average of 1-4 hrs weekly. Work an assistant shift at the library at least twice a year to further understand how the library operates.
