Opportunity Description:

Interested in exciting, vibrant, and engaging volunteer opportunities at one of Saskatoon’s favourite summer events? We invite you to consider volunteering with us at the 2022 Saskatoon Fringe Festival! Running from July 28th through August 6th, the Saskatoon Fringe is a 10-day Festival in the heart of the Broadway District of Saskatoon which celebrates the vibrant art created in our local community and beyond. As a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals, the Saskatoon Fringe is a part of an international network of Fringe Festivals which provides a platform for artists from around the world to travel across the country sharing their stories. Volunteers are the heart of the Saskatoon Fringe. We are so thankful for those who choose to spend their time volunteering with us. Fringe Volunteers assist in many areas – from the Set-Up Crew to the Carnival Games, there are many unique opportunities to share your skills. This year, some of our Volunteer areas include: ● Front of House ● Set Up Crew ● Carnival Game Attendant ● And more! Saskatoon Fringe Volunteers are compensated for the time and energy given with vouchers to see performances as well as a Volunteer Appreciation event. If you’re looking to reconnect with your community, meet like-minded people, and help to support the vibrant arts community right here in Saskatoon, we encourage you to apply and join our brilliant volunteer team. 25th Street Theatre and the Saskatoon Fringe Festival staff, board, and volunteers commit to creating and supporting a safe, inclusive environment for everyone in our community. We commit to anti-oppression language and behaviour and to honour diversity in age, race, ancestry, religion and spirituality, sex, gender identity, nation of origin, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and ability. All interested individuals are encouraged to connect with us. Whether this is your 1st or 30th volunteer experience with us – we would love to hear from you!
