The ideal candidate for this volunteer role has a positive attitude, communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of self-motivation and time management. As the volunteer Run Director - Logistics, you will be responsible for: • Providing leadership/guidance to your team of Logistics volunteers (4-6 people). • Supporting the Logistics Leads in developing local event plan • Ensuring all important Logistics tasks are completed • Overseeing the executing of all logistics for set up, event day and teardown. • Working to ensure your event meets local revenue and participant targets. • Meeting regularly with your CCS staff partner and Run Director, Community Engagement,.Co-hosting committee meetings • Supporting the onboarding of new Logistics volunteers. This is a 6-month commitment (May through October). Attending local committee meetings (generally bi-weekly to monthly). Sponsorship Lead - CIBC Run for the Cure Saskatoon

Description: As a leadership volunteer, you will be part of our committees of 10 to 15 volunteers who will work over the months to help us organize our fundraising events. Depending on the needs in your community, available roles could include committee lead, logistics, community outreach, volunteer lead, and social media. The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run. This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025. As the volunteer Sponsorship Lead, you will be responsible for: • Secure food and beverage for event through gift-in-kind sponsorships • Work with committee to identify additional gift-in-kind sponsorship needs • Solicit and secure local gift-in-kind and cash sponsorships This is a 6-month commitment (May through October).
