Opportunity Description:

Join us for Museum Days! Over June 10th and 11th, 2025, the WDM will welcome 1600 students from across Saskatoon to discover, learn and enjoy all the Museum has to offer. Facilitate learning as a Heritage Activity Leader! Heritage Activities provide a unique opportunity for visitors to create, play, and experience the Museum in a new way. These activities help us better connect to the ways of our collective history. You can help give these new experiences by signing up as a heritage activity volunteer! We have a wide selection of heritage activities to suit all kinds of interests and abilities. We will try to assign you to an activity that best suits you, but the availability of activities can change depending on the time at which you sign up, which event is taking place, and the supplies we have on hand. Key Duties: Activity Leaders will: Attend a safety meeting at 9:00 am on event day. Familiarize themselves with the information sheet provided Demonstrate the activity to groups of students · Support students in trying the activity Communicate history and information about the activity Answer questions about the activity from students and chaperones. Time Commitment  9:00 am to 2:30 PM June 10th and 11th. Sign up for a full day and get lunch provided! Skills and Qualifications Enthusiasm! Comfortable speaking to groups of children and adults. Patience and acceptance of children with varying attention spans and interest levels. Knowledge of Saskatchewan history or willingness to learn.
