VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Relay For Life Volunteer Engagement Lead WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As the Volunteer Engagement Lead you will be responsible for: • Leading all aspects of volunteer needs • Recruiting volunteers to meet pre-event and event needs using CCS materials, liaising with CCS Volunteer Engagement staff to tap into additional supports. • Managing volunteer event shifts in CCS’s online scheduling tool, answering volunteer inquiries and preparing volunteers for a great event. • Working with all committee members ( Logistics and Community Engagement) to ensure all volunteer needs are fulfilled and a strong team of people are in place with flexibility to meet changing event demands. • Facilitating a well-organized and positive volunteer experience from check-in to check-out so that volunteers leave Relay knowing they’ve been part of something special and wanting to come back again! • Working with the Volunteer Experience Business Partner team to secure event day volunteers THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY BE a part of a collective of people united by a singular focus where no Canadian fears cancer.  BE bold by committing your time to driving positive change alongside families, friends, healthcare teams, donors, scientists, advocates and all those who strive to make the cancer journey one that is supported in every way.    We believe that life is bigger than cancer.
