Opportunity Description:

Dundonald Community Association is looking for someone to join the team to help with communications and marketing. As part of a team, you will work with the DCA board to: create posters and social media advertising for programming, special events, and notices. coordinate and create content and produce regular electronic and paper newsletters. update the website with pictures, information about events and more maintain the email database of volunteers and e-newsletter recipients create an advertising model so local businesses can advertise in our newsletters  create budgets for communication and marketing activities. create innovative ways to reach a broader portion of our near 6000 residents! We welcome people of all abilities and commitment levels. If there is only a portion of this you can help with, or can only help for a few weeks or months, we are happy to have your help. Skills required are really flexible but most helpful would be: Strong typing skills and grammar. ability to learn different computer programs-from word processor, to Canva, MailChimp and more. ability to self organize Creativity – particularly with visuals! This is a great job for someone looking to volunteer their expertise short or long term, as well as for people wanting to build their expertise in communications and marketing. We also welcome high school students looking to fill volunteer hour commitments too!
