Opportunity Description:

The Clean Green Community Scene is coming to George Genereux Urban Regional Park this Saturday September 19, 2020 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.   Please share our pamphlets and poster!!!   The Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas Inc., Meewasin Clean up and the City of Saskatoon are taking the health of the volunteers seriously and following public health protocols for this volunteer experience to restore the semi-wilderness wildlife habitat out at George Genereux Urban Regional Park in Saskatoon, SK. George Genereux Urban Regional Park is roughly 1/2 mile square and is a forest situated on 147.8 acres of land, so it is easy to social distance.  Free facemasks will be available for those instances when volunteers are closer than six feet together.  Opportunity to win prizes! Sept 19, 2020 9:00-5:00 Clean Green Community Scene At George Genereux Park Besides full day shifts, there are staggered shifts throughout the day available for anyone wishing to volunteer partial days.  It is wise to come for the weather – a hat, closed toe footwear, sunscreen, bug spray & water bottle, pen or pencil to help record trash, canvas gloves, masks.  Prizes to win!
